Welcome to the Clan System! Whoever has played a multiplayer game in a clan before knows what we’re talking about when we say: Playing S4 in a clan takes it to the next level. You are going to play faster, more skilful and team-minded, improve your tactical playing and reactivity and – who knows? – turn out to be the best S4 players in the world!
This is the clan system’s home page. At the top, you see the home button, the my Clan button and the ? button. While you’re not in a clan yet, the my Clan button is grayed out. At the moment the box at the upper right corner is also idle. Here you can see your clan’s name and logo later.
The window below is the main home page. To the right, you can search an existing clan by typing its name in the search bar and click Search. After that, the found clan will appear in the main window. The light blue frame displays the info of the selected clan. In order to play in a clan, you can either join one of these existing clans or create a new one. There are three types of clans:
-Public: A public clan is free to join for everyone
-Private: This clan is closed and cannot be joined by external users
-Approval: You can only join that clan after the clan leader allowed you to.
To join a clan, simply press "Join". In case joining the clan is only allowed by approval, simply click on the approval join button to send an application - the clan leader then accepts or denies your request.
This is the Clan Profile of the selected clan. Here you can see its name, description and who the leader is. Also when this clan was created, where it’s rank and how many members then clan has.
If you want to find out who those members are in particular, simply click on the Clan members button. The list that appears now shows you the clan members, their points and stats in particular. The red button, of course, is only active for the leader. In order to close the clan, the leader has to be the last member in it. All others must have left or be kicked first.
If you want to create your own clan, simply click on the create clan button at the lower right corner of the home page. This is the window you see then. Here you can set all information about your clan.
The clan name has to consist of 3 to 12 characters. The clan type you choose defines the sort of clan you want to lead, either public, by approval or private. The description at last should be something significant about your bunch of players.
The next thing you need is a logo for your clan so the members can be recognized when playing. This is quite easy by using the editor that lets you create a logo from three layers.
Therefore you can choose from different backgrounds, borders and symbols. Each one of them is available in different colors. Simply click on the layer to add it to the final logo below. When finished, click on the create clan logo button.
After you have created your own clan and logo, you will be directed to your new clan’s profile. Here you can manage everything about your clan. To the right, you see a navigation containing the following sections:
-Clan Profile That’s your clan’s home site and control center.
-Edit Clan Here you can change your clan’s description and define if it’s a public, approval or private clan.
-Applications In case you’ve set your clan on approval, this button shows a list of all applications of players that would like to join your clan.
-Clan members Here you can see all members that are already in your clan. See the crown next to the only member’s username? That means he’s the clan leader.
